It all came together very nicely . You were very brave not use a pencil first. I like the lightness of colour and then the big red bucket at the back. I am sure you have a very clean house. Then again, drawing is a much more fun way to use your spare time instead of housework.

I think you did a great job. It’s a nice interesting sketch and I don’t see so much of a problem with the watercolor and pen. I do that alot and I wonder if mine are out of balance or competing. I like the effect of line and wash, so I just do it instinctively without thinking much about the balance. Anyway, I really like the composition and the way you handled this very mundane subject that you made quite interesting. I also like how it has that EVERYDAY feel – as in everyday matters.

Love it even with the pen shading! I was just thinking the other day, I’d love to do a sketch of the trash cans out front on trash day, same type of thing. We see stuff like this every day, but forget to see the design possibilities! Love this type of sketch!
