I think you’ve successfully delivered the whole package here. I don’t care what those voices said(I’ve got a lot of those myself too) but sometimes you just need to go ahead with what you feel is right And you did just that and the result needs no word to describe further ^^

I think you did very well. Your water looks just fine. Like your people sketch there too. That’s something I haven’t attempted yet in any of my paintings.

I agree with Jennifer. I think this is a great painting and all the elements work very well. Drawing people in public is really scary to me too. Good for you for facing that fear and overcoming it so well!

Well, I think you successfully stifled those voices! Reducing the water and people to their simple shapes makes them read exactly as they are…great job! No need for further detail. The painting on the previous post is well done also!
